imprint

In June & July I ran IMPRINT four print sessions at the brilliant Strutts Community Centre in Belper thanks to the Movers & Shakers Community Fund shared by MAKE/SHIFT - check them out!

IMPRINT was a joyful experience! The playful & experimental vibes embraced by participants Karon, Chenda, Jackie & Linda. They cut Lino blocks, printed on varied papers layering & blending colour, made 'rubbish' prints using crisp packets & Tetra Pak, created puzzle Lino blocks, monoprinted & printed with plants on paper & natural fabrics.

I loved the final session! Watching the group set up their print tables & getting stuck into their personal projects with no help from me. Perfect! It was beautiful to witness their confidence in print.

Thank you!

Lovely feedback: "Just wanted to express my gratitude for a super four week course. I have so enjoyed being guided & encouraged by you demonstrating ways to print using different mediums & styles culminating in a fabulous free-for-all session where you let us run wild. I produced pieces I'm really happy with & look forward to embellishing them with stitching to add even more detail. You really put me at ease & I appreciate the support you showed."

"The workshops were great - well structured & resourced without being over planned. I gained new skills which I'd like to develop over time. I had a very creative experience in a friendly & encouraging environment."
